Located in Huntsville, Alabama, the Clinic for Colon & Rectal Surgery has been providing quality surgical care to Tennessee Valley residents for over 30 years.
The Clinic is located in the medical district, two blocks north of Huntsville Hospital, at 115 Manning Street. (See directions)
The Clinic employs fully trained general surgeons who have additional training in colon and rectal surgery. All surgeons at the Clinic are board certified in colon and rectal surgery and are members of the American College of Surgeons.
Our practice is limited to colon and rectal surgery. In 2007, 2,737 new patients were seen and there were 15,619 total patient contacts. Six hundred (600) abdominal operations were performed.The most common
operations were colon or rectal excision for cancer and colon resection for diverticulitis. Of the 600 abdominal operations, 159 were laparoscopic. Five hundred eighty- three (583) anorectal operations were performed, including surgery for hemorrhiods, fissure, abscess, and fistula. Three thousand six hundred thirty-two (3,632) colonoscopies were performed.
We will see any patient who may benefit from our services. Appointments with us may be obtained by referral from another physician or by simply calling our office. We take assignment with most medical insurance plans. We operate and perform colonoscopies at Huntsville Hospital, Crestwood Medical Center, and The Surgery Center.
